There’s nothing like smoothies that taste and look like “milkshakes” to make you feel like a kid or a grown up having a special day. And just because you’re making healthier choices with your food, doesn’t mean you don’t deserve those special days, too!
These two sugar- and dairy-free chocolate smoothies will tickle your taste buds and fill your belly with goodness.
Budda Bing! Smoothie
Total Time 2 minutes
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups greens kale, lettuces, parsley, etc.
- 1/2 can full fat coconut milk
- 1 whole avocado
- 1/4 cup organic cacao nibs or powder
- 1/2 cup organic frozen Bing cherries or berry of choice
- 1 teaspoon organic turmeric
- 1 date
- Filtered water as needed for desired consistency
Instructions

Pour all the ingredients into your blender, Nutribullet, or Vitamix.

Whip up for about 30 seconds or to your desired consistency. About 30 seconds produces the milkshake consistency that I prefer.

Pour into a Mason jar or holder of choice.

Top with frozen berries.

Serve with straw and spoon to enjoy!
Peppermint Patty Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups greens kale, lettuces, parsley, etc.
- 2/3 can full fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs 1/2 in smoothie, 1/2 on top
- 1/2 avocado
- 5 drops edible peppermint oil
- 9 ice cubes
- Filtered water as needed for desired consistency
Instructions
