Welcome to my living room workout series! Each week, I share a workout from my personal exercise routine — and then do it in real time so you can follow along. These workouts are optional and are simply one of the many ways you can accomplish your daily exercise.
Living Room Workout 11
All you need for today’s workout is the floor. You may find carpeting or an exercise mat to be more comfortable than just the floor, though, because one of our two exercises will be the sit-up.
This workout is what’s known as a “Tabata mash-up” and it looks like this:
8 rounds:
- 20 seconds of sit-ups
- 10-second rest
- 20 seconds of squats
- 10-second rest
The idea is to do as many repetitions of each exercise as you can within the twenty-second time frame. But remember, it’s as many repetitions as you can do — not me and not anyone else. Go as hard as you can, but listen to your body and slow down if needed.
