Welcome to my living room workout series! Each week, I share a workout from my personal exercise routine — and then do it in real time so you can follow along. These workouts are optional and are simply one of the many ways you can accomplish your daily exercise.
Living Room Workout 12
My son, Dashel, is joining me for today’s workout. While you can obviously do these workouts on your own, you might try inviting a friend, family member, or coworker to join you on occasion. These workouts are great for inviting people since there is no equipment required. And, in my experience, having a workout buddy makes me work harder and makes the workout more fun.
Speaking of which, here’s what we’re doing today (watch the video for an explanation of the movements):
10 rounds:
- 20 seconds of push-ups
- 10 seconds of right-side plank hip lifts
- 10 seconds of left-side plank hip lifts
- 20 seconds of rest
