I have been a huge coffee drinker for decades, but in the last three years I have found myself rushing to bed in anticipation of my morning coffee. You might wonder what has changed?
Adding healthy fats and spices to my coffee changed the game for me big time.
There are a few reasons I love my new way of drinking coffee:

I do overnight fasting to give my body the rest time it needs for all it does for me during the day. My last meal ends somewhere between 5 to 8pm and I do not eat again until twelve to sixteen hours later. The best part of this story is that drinking my coffee, even with the added fat, does not “break” my fast. In contrast, having coffee with fat helps me to remain full so that my first meal of the day usually happens around 11am to 1pm.

Ingredients
- 1 cup hot organic coffee
