Fresh Chicken and Sausage Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 2 pounds air-chilled chicken tenderloins
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
- 5 Brussels sprouts
- 1 zucchini
- 1 summer squash
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 orange pepper
- 1/2 white onion
- fresh basil
- Salt pepper, cayenne powder
- Olive oil
Instructions

Shred Brussels sprouts.

Dice onion.

Cut the remainder of the vegetables into bite-size pieces.

Set aside.

Remove sausage from casing and hand separate into bite-size pieces.

Sprinkle chicken and sausage with salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste.

Pan fry sausage and chicken in olive oil on medium-high heat. Depending on meat thickness, fry for 4-5 minutes per side, forming a crispy exterior.

Add all vegetables on top of the meat and cover the pan. Turn burner down to medium heat, and cook for 5 minutes.

Uncover and stir thoroughly. Cook for 5 additional minutes.

Remove from heat, drain oil, and serve.
