If five minutes is all you can spare for exercising, then this is the workout for you. This workout will strength train your whole body and get your heart rate up, while also improving your posture.
Speaking of which: have you ever looked down at your feet and noticed that they turn out to the sides instead of pointing straight ahead? The reason for this is a muscular imbalance in your hips. Doing the exercise I teach in this video will reintroduce balance and proper movement to your hips.
The Out-of-Time Workout
- Up-downs – do 3 sets of 10
Note: What makes this workout effective and challenging is keeping your feet pointed straight ahead the whole time. Getting the full benefit of this exercise is dependent on this part. Watch the video for detailed instructions and a demonstration.
When to do this workout:
- When you’re short on time, but still looking to get a good exercise session.
- When you’re in need of a quick energy boost or wake-me-up.
